1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website may install on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit. Cookies serve to remember information about your visit: language preferences, login session, items in a cart, or to track your activity for analytics or advertising.
2. Do we use cookies on this site?
Mesa de Madrid does not install cookies in your browser for analytics or advertising.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a measurement tool that does not use cookies, does not identify individual users and does not store personal information. The metrics it collects (pages visited, device, browser, country) are aggregated and anonymous, helping us only to understand how many visits the site receives and from where.
This means you can browse our site with full privacy, without consent banners or data sharing with advertising networks.
3. Strictly necessary technical cookies
The site may only use technical cookies when strictly necessary for functionality (for instance, remembering language preference if we ever implement it). These cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under article 22.2 of Spanish LSSI-CE.
4. Third-party cookies
If you use features that load external content from the site (Google Maps embedded on the contact page, videos from external platforms, integrated social networks), those third parties may install their own cookies in your browser. Mesa de Madrid does not control those cookies. For more information:
- Google (Maps): policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram): facebook.com/policy/cookies
5. How to manage cookies
Even though we don't use tracking cookies at Mesa de Madrid, you can configure your browser to manage cookies from any site you visit:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
You can also use private or incognito mode to prevent any site (not just ours) from storing cookies or data on your device.
6. Modifications
If we ever incorporate tools that do install cookies, we will update this policy and show a consent banner in line with applicable regulations. The date of last update appears at the top and bottom of this document.
