These are the terms that apply when you book a table at Mesa de Madrid. We've described them in plain language because the idea is for you to know what to expect without reading the small print.
1. How to book
We accept bookings through three channels: WhatsApp (the fastest), phone during kitchen hours, or the web form on the booking page. Every booking is confirmed only when a member of the team replies — the website does not generate automatic confirmations. For small parties this is usually a matter of minutes during opening hours.
2. Cancellation policy
If you can't make it, please let us know at least 2 hours in advance. We don't ask for deposits or charge for cancellations — we trust your word. The table you don't use can be someone else's; that timely heads-up helps us run the floor.
Exception: parties of more than 10 guests may require confirmation at least 24 hours ahead, and on busy dates we may ask for a small deposit. We'll let you know when you book.
3. Waiting time
We hold your table for 15 minutes of grace. After that, without your arrival or notice of delay, the table may be reassigned to other guests waiting. If you'll be late, a quick WhatsApp message is enough.
4. Capacity and conduct
We reserve the right of admission in line with current regulations. We expect respectful conduct toward our team and other guests. Any aggressive, discriminatory or significantly disruptive behaviour may result in a request to leave the venue.
5. Dogs
Well-behaved dogs welcome on the terrace. For food hygiene reasons, no animals indoors, except certified assistance dogs (free access without restrictions).
6. Minors
Children are welcome during daytime and early dinner. Late at night (after 23:00), local Madrid hospitality regulations on the presence of minors in venues serving alcohol take precedence.
7. Payment methods
We accept cash, card and Bizum, with no minimum amount and no surcharge by payment method. The bill is delivered at the end of service, never in advance.
8. Modifications to these terms
These terms may change. When they do, we'll update the date at the top and bottom of the document. The terms applicable to your booking are the ones in force at the moment you make it.
